Glass Rocks by Dottie Boscamp

April 30, 2015

Can you imagine this bowl as your dance partner?

Dottie Boscamp dances every day with her favorite partner. “Molten glass is the medium I choose to work with because it is very responsive. The glass blowing process is like dancing because I am constantly moving and responding to my partner, the glass.”

Perhaps that’s the reason she named her art glass studio Glass Rocks!

If you’d like to see more of Dottie’s work, come by Spectrum Gallery and have a look. Many of her pieces are as functional as they are beautiful.  We’ll even let you dance with it if you’d like!
