Glass and Copper Stingrays by North Carolina Artist, Stan Harmon

May 10, 2016

Stingrays are magnificent creatures. As graceful as birds in flight, they move with ease through the water. Stan Harmon is a man who knows a thing or two about water and motion. As a hydro management consultant, he understands how water flows and how things flow through it. That's his scientific side

And then, there's his creative side.

Stan's kiln formed glass stingrays with their copper tails, regularly generate gasps when people look up, surprised to see them quietly floating above.

Now, imagine one (or several) of these hanging over your kitchen island or in your sun filled great room with high ceilings. There's also an option for homes that don't have the height needed to hang one from above. Everyone has walls, right.........

........or mantels.

Spectrum Gallery represents Stan Harmon and they love to see these unique and gorgeous creatures going to good homes. Drop by the gallery to get a closer look. If you don't see what you want or if you would like to have something truly spectacular, Stan can do commission pieces. He can go as far as his creativity can take it.
