"The thing that keeps me painting year after year is the process.  The clean white canvas on my easel, the mounds of rich, buttery colors on my palette, the brushes, mixing, blending, dancing, shapes emerging, contrasts developing, order gradually appearing.  Yes, it's the process that delights me, and if the end result is pleasing, so much the better."

Marianne's work has won numerous awards and is in both private and corporate collections.  She has exhibited in many group and one person shows and has been featured in The Artist's Magazine and other publications.
