What is a Jewelry Box Review?
1. First of all, it’s FUN. Star has over twenty years experience in jewelry manufacturing and custom jewelry design. You'll be surprised at the creative suggestions she presents. A Jewelry Box Review is done by appointment and usually takes about half an hour. Here’s what you can expect: Here’s what you can expect: This will service to identify what needs to be addressed first. Star will help you to sort out what should be saved, what needs to be cleaned, what requires repairs or restoration or restyle, and what, if anything, might be a candidate to recycle.

3. “Sparkle Service” (inspection and cleaning).
Our Master Goldsmith, Michael Chapman, will inspect and clean up to five fine jewelry pieces for free and you can opt to have more done
for a nominal fee. If you have items that are showing some wear, he can refinish and polish them and give them a “like new”
appearance again for a nominal charge (in most cases).
4. Expert Jewelry Repairs
Some of your treasures may need a simple repaire to restore them to daily use. Michael will inspect them and make recommendations.
This includes replacing damaged or missing prongs, sizing rings,
pearl restringing, gem replacement, etc.
Together you can decide what your budget and priorities are
and in no time you can be wearing some of your old favorites again.
5. “Restyle” your existing jewelry or
gemstones into something new and fabulous. 
Be prepared to be surprised and delighted with Star’s unique
re-design ideas. This might involve combining things that you already have. Star will brainstorm with you, sketch out her ideas and, if you are interested, she will prepare the detailed custom design sketches and estimates for a nominal design fee. She can also provide additional materials and gemstones to fill out your collection.
6. $$or store credit for your old gold jewelry.
You have probably got some old pieces you no longer want. Remember the half pair of gold earrings or broken chain, or even your old wedding ring you no longer wear.
If so, you might consider selling items that you no longer want or love.
Star will buy your old gold (10k, 14k or 18k).
You can also use your old gold as credit towards a custom design project
or trade it in for store credit in the gallery.
7. Protect your investment with documentation and appraisals.
We can create an inventory document of your fine jewelry collection
and update your appraisals on important pieces.
This will ensure that your insurance coverage reflects up to date values and information.
These services are provided for an additional fee.
