"I am not happy for long if I am not painting. It's in my bones. My favorite subjects are of coastal North Carolina, which made it easy to move here over eight years ago. Most of my work is done with palette knife, thickly applied, which gives it a wonderful tactile quality. Color, light play, and contrasts all attract my attention when I start to compose a painting. Living in an area rich with wildlife, an ocean, river, lake, and gardens keep me absolutely dizzy deciding what to paint next."

Jane is a native of Greenville, North Carolina. An award winning artist, Jane's work has been consistently accepted in local and national exhibits and is collected both privately and corporately.  She currently resides in Wilmington, North Carolina.
