Artist Statement:

 I use the natural qualities of molten glass and a combination of original techniques and classical glassblowing to achieve colorful, fluid designs that often remind me of nature.

I am relieved to discover that even as my blowing skills improve and my control of the glass becomes stronger.  This has not led me away from the uncontrolled and natural form of glass. In fact I find that the more technical ability I attain the more I am able to let the glass' heat, density and motion dictate the form.
