Barbara Heinrich was born in Heilbronn, Germany,growing up in the vineyards of her families winery. To keep herself busy as a child she collected pods, snail shells and broken glass pieces to make jewelry. "The inspiration to make jewelry has always been with me", says Barbara.
After graduating with top honors in Germany she won a scholarship to continue her jewelry studies in the United States. Here she earned a masters degree from RIT and met her husband. They built her studio, a beautiful airy space with lots of windows and skylights, and there she creates her richly detailed 18k designs.
Barbara's designs are a delicate balance between crisp geometric lines and flowing organic details paired with luscious colored gems and brilliant diamonds. The collections we feature include her stack rings and also suites of colored sapphire, black or champagne diamond briolettes.
